It's Warm! It's Warm! It's Warm!

Love this for $19.50, under a suit, or with jeans. Of course, I prefer the Kansas version,

but you may prefer the Oz version, in technicolor.

The Five and Ten

Well, it looks like Urban Outfitters has thrown in the towel, and utterly given up on even the remotest possibility that summer is actually ever coming to NYC this year, and accordingly has marked their prices waaay down, with many items a mere $5 or $10 (OK, $4.99 or $9.99, if you must be such a stickler for accuracy. And yes, apparently I must be.). Let their loss of faith be your wardrobe gain. Especially since you just know August will be hotter 'n hell starting at precisely 12:00:00 AM on 8/1/09.

$5!

Cami Triple Whammy

Summer's coming, and you're going to need more camis. Of course, if winter was coming, I would tell you the same thing, because they're great for layering purposes. So buy a lot. Especially since you can get 3 for $10.

Luckier Intersection

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. This cami is where my love for the seventies and Amanda's love of color intersects - Venn diagram, anyone? $10!

Native American Summer

Ever notice when you go to Florida in the winter, the Floridians (boy did my grandmother love that word) are dressed in cardigans and slacks (ditto), but we northerners are running around in halters tops and hot pants? (I guess it's inexplicably 1975.) There must be some quasi-scientific explanation for this phenomenon, referred to in the South as "those idiot northerners syndrome." Well, we have a warm front coming through tomorrow, making the mercury-free-and-therefore-safe-for-Broadway-performers thermometer shoot up from the single digits to the mid 50's, and I am thinking this silk top, at a mere $20, would be just perfect.
